Unlock the Secrets: Brillant Bathroom Tips and Tricks You Need to Know

Transforming your bathroom into a sparkling oasis can be quite the adventure! It’s one of those spaces that demands daily attention, or it will quickly take on a life of its own.

Cleaning the toilet is the easiest thing for me to do.I have found that you don’t need to have expensive product to have a clean house. The bathroom is one of those rooms that simple is best. I start by putting some of my favorite cleaner, Bon Ami (check out my previous post), and sprinkling it into the toilet bowl and around the base. Then, I scrub with my toilet brush and let it sit for a minute while I use a damp rag to wash down the rest of the toilet. Next, I use a soft rag to buff the toilet dry, and finally, I flush. Simple.

I use Bon Ami on the sink, following the same routine: scrub, then buff dry with a soft cloth. For the chrome fixtures, dryer sheets work wonders (I got this tip from Pintrest) to give them a great shine. Next, I spray my mirror with a natural window cleaner from Grove. To clean my wooden vanity, which my husband made a few years back, I use a simple all-purpose cleaner, also from Grove, to wipe away dust and grime.

Cleaning the tub is my least favorite bathroom task because it involves kneeling and scrubbing, which I absolutely detest. Recently, I scoured Pinterest and found a game-changing method: I spray down the tub with Dawn Power Wash (I make my own using a Pinterest recipe) and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, I use my spin mop to thoroughly wash the tub. For the stubborn spots around the drain and faucet, I spray again and tackle them with a Mr. Clean Eraser. This method has significantly reduced my cleaning time, and that’s a huge win for me!
